The idea incubator is located at Andrije Mohorovičića 59 in Bjelovar and is organized according to the coworking space model. At 200 m² it offers users 14 separate work units, a lounge area for rest, a room for meetings and teamwork, a space for holding events and a kitchen with hot drinks, the possibility of using laptops, printing and scanning services, and lockers for storing personal belongings of users.

 

A meeting place for civil society organizations, current and future entrepreneurs, students and
others who need space for work and study

Coworking space is intended for civil society organizations that need space to work and maintain activities, entrepreneurs who do not have their own office or for any reason it is not adequate for them, people who work from home, freelancers, students who need a place to study and others who are looking for a place to work or study.

The idea incubator also offers the possibility of organizing business meetings, seminars, trainings and workshops in the own organization of space users and other business entities from the area of ​​Bjelovar-Bilogora County and beyond.

In the Idea Incubator, training courses are held aimed at developing and improving business competencies, which are part of the comprehensive service that this space offers to its users by providing a space to work, ensuring the necessary knowledge for the realization of business ideas and creating opportunities for new contacts, networking and the development of new collaborations.

Evening hours are reserved for social events

In order to further open up the Incubator space to the community, social events on various topics are organized in the evening hours - literature, music, creative workshops, lectures and workshops on healthy eating, travel reports and more according to the affinities of the users who are also the co-creators of the events, and through which the people of Bjelovar want to be given the opportunity to present their work and talents to their fellow citizens.

 

Use of space free of charge

The popularity of coworking spaces for a number of years has been a peculiar phenomenon not only in the world but also in Croatia, where there are almost 40 of them so far. We are pleased that Bjelovar also got a space like this and that our fellow citizens recognized the value it brings to this city.

The use of the space and accompanying contents is free of charge for users, and therefore we invite all those interested to visit and explore the Ideas Incubator and to take advantage of this unique opportunity to work in an inspiring environment, to acquire new knowledge and create new business opportunities.

 

Incubator of ideas - a project co-financed by the European Union

The Bjelovar Center for the Development of Civil Society, as the project holder, in partnership with the City of Bjelovar, the Bjelovar-Bilogor County and the Institute for Creative Education from Zagreb, implements the European project called the Idea Incubator, the total value of which is HRK 1,994,857.17. The project was co-financed by the European Union from the European Social Fund in the amount of HRK 1,695,628.59 and from the State Budget of the Republic of Croatia (at the position of the Office for NGOs of the Government of the Republic of Croatia) in the amount of HRK 299,228.58.
