Uspješan završetak još jednog EU projekta BCRCD-a

The Bjelovar Center for Civil Society Development (BCRCD) is an association that has been carrying out activities and projects in the area of Bjelovar-Bilogora County for many years. One of the projects is Špica rada, which successfully completed its 30-month implementation in the eleventh month.

The Špica rada project began its implementation on May 14, 2018 in partnership with the Bjelovar-Bilogor County, the Croatian Employment Service Bjelovar Regional Office, the Regional Development Agency of the Bjelovar-Bilogor County and the Alliance for a Fair Society. The project is worth HRK 978,039.92, and was co-financed by the European Union from the European Social Fund. The goal of the project was to provide employment assistance to long-term unemployed people in Bjelovar-Bilogor County. As part of the project, two Employment Clubs were launched in Bjelovar and Daruvar.

The clubs were open every day and users had the opportunity to learn how to write a resume and job application, find out in which ways and in which places they can look for a job, and learn how to prepare for a job interview with future employers. Through the project, 15 workshops on the topics of self-assessment and improving skills for finding a job were held in the larger cities of the Bjelovar-Bilogora County in the implementation of the HZZ PU Bjelovar. HZZ PU Bjelovar also held 200 individual counseling sessions for unemployed people on employment topics.

Training for the professions of nanny, carer and independent bookkeeper, with entry in the work book, was held by the Public Open University Bjelovar, and 25 participants successfully completed them. The five-day workshops "Development of entrepreneurial skills" held in Bjelovar and Daruvar provided a series of practical tips aimed at developing entrepreneurial skills for unemployed people who want to start their own business.

The feedback received so far from the participants of the project activities is extremely positive, and a special success is represented by all those who, based on their participation in the activities, found a new job or ventured into entrepreneurship independently. Although the Špica rada project is ending, the office of the Bjelovar Center for the Development of Civil Society at Vladimira Nazor 22 and the contact phone number 043 246 259 are still available to all unemployed persons who were unable to join the project activities during the duration of the project and who need help in looking for a job or starting an entrepreneurial activity.
